On May the 2nd, 3rd and 4th 2013 Cynthia Cooper will be presenting EquiFriendship in the Equine Arena at 1pm daily.
With Ron Morgan's horse Charlie (who is an old hand at handling the noise and crowds of Agfest) Cynthia will talk about and demonstrate the principles of EquiFriendship to show how have the most rewarding relationship with a horse.
Learning how to read their messages, or think about what its like for the horse to be involved in their agenda, is a skill that needs a new attitude.
Cynthia will introduce topics such as using positive reinforcement (food rewards, scratching, feeding respectfully), trust, having the horse catch us, responding to hand/body/voice cues to achieve daily tasks, all covered at liberty, followed by purpose exercises, and then riding bareback and bitless.
This presentation will be in total contrast to the other fast paced action events scheduled for the arena, so lets hope that is what attracts people who are ready to have an equal relationship with their horse.
